About the event

A Salon is a place where interesting people can gather to talk about their diverse perspectives on important topics that shape our world. We are continuing the conversations about how to make work work for today's workforce.

It's been a year since we last reported on Women and Work. Back then, it remained a confusing time for employees and the organizations they worked for. Employers were delaying their return-to-office plans and quiet quitting was just becoming a thing. Inflation was soaring for everyday goods like gas and groceries. And wages were beginning their dramatic increase -- not just to keep up with higher prices, but reflecting a job market that was heating up.

And women were just finding steady footing after experiencing extraordinary hardships when it came to working (or not working) during the pandemic.

What has changed since then? Short answer: A lot. And not much.

We'll share what we know that's new for 2023. And then we want to hear from you -- your ideas, experiences, and innovative practices in attracting and retaining women (and all people) at work.

This Salon is hosted by Lifeline of Ohio and facilitated by Applegate Talent Strategies. Wine, soft drinks, and light hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
